1.ArunResidence Viewpoint

?????????????

This bar is located at the roof of Arun Residence hotel. It opens at 5:00 pm. till midnight. The place is very nice and the view is stunning. It is located just by the river and faces to Wat Arun temple.

2.National museum of royal barges

royalbarges.01-2

The Royal Barge Suphannahong was built anew in 1911 in the reign of King Vajiravudh, deriving the name from the royal barge Sri Suphannahong of King Maha Chakkaphat of Ayutthaya, built in 1548, or from Chai Suphanahong or Suvannahong of the late Ayutthaya period, or from Suvannahong of King Rama I (reigned 1782 – 1809), or from Sri Suphannahong of King Rama III.

3.The Grand Palace and Temple of Emerald Bhudda (Wat Phra Kaew)

This is a great place with cultural significance. The architecture is very beautiful. The Grand Palace is a complex of buildings at the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. The palace has been the official residence of the Kings of Siam since 1782. The king, his court and his royal government were based on the grounds of the palace until 1925.

4.The Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun)

Wat_Arun_02

Amazing temple and extremely beautiful views and amazing buddhas. Outside of temple are several markets with coconuts easily made and preserved spiders and butterflies. Really neat and close to dock with main river of chao praya. From our place just walk 3 minutes to Tien Pier (N8) and then take the ferry to cross the river.

5.The National Museum Bangkok

Qr-11

The National Museum has an impressive collection of Buddhas and other religious statues of various styles – Dvaravati, Srivijaya, Lanna, Khmer in the museum are much older – up to about 1000 years old. The collection of Southeast Asian artefacts is absolutely unparalleled anywhere; even the Musée Guimet in Paris can’t rival its range.
